Where are your ingredients sourced from?

Nearly 100% of the produce used is purchased directly from local organic family farmers in Santa Cruz County. Some items, such as stone fruits and citrus, come from family farms in the Central Valley. If a vegetable is out of season, you won’t see it on the menu. Produce is used within 4 days of being harvested to preserve its nutrients!

All of our meat & seafood is humanely raised or wild-caught and either local or sourced from sustainable growers on the West Coast.

I am equally diligent in my sourcing of organic grains, nuts, legumes, spices & herbs, supporting family farms & regenerative agriculture whenever possible. All international ingredients are fair-trade and meticulously checked to not promote deforestation and depletion of native lands and people.

How are meals packaged?

All of our prepared meals are packaged in reusable glass containers and jars. We strive to be as earth-conscious as possible. We provide containers for delivery customers, and personal chef customers have the option of using either the containers that we provide or any that they prefer to use in their home. We will discuss needs during the initial consultation.

How do deliveries work?

Prepared meals & add-ons are delivered weekly, every Tuesday between 9-1. We ask that you have a cooler available that will fit your order, and that containers from the previous delivery be washed and sitting beside the cooler for pick-up.

How do you contribute to our local community?

As well as supporting local businesses & buying direct from family farms, a portion of all profits are donated to support local farmworker families and birthing people.
